Respiratory satisfaction survey results

High member satisfaction is an important reflection on both of us -- we as the home care provider and you as the insurance plan provider. We regularly secure feedback from patients to better understand their perceptions of our staff, our equipment and our care.

In a survey of our patients on oxygen therapy:
94 percent agreed that the equipment they received was clean and working properly
93 percent agreed that they were treated with respect by our staff who visited their home
91 percent agreed that they received their oxygen equipment and supplies on time

In a survey of our patients on CPAP therapy:
96 percent agreed that their CPAP setup time was convenient
94 percent agreed that our respiratory therapists were professional and knowledgeable
81 percent self reported that they wear CPAP mask for at least four hours a night (well above the national average of 46 percent compliance)

Survey details:
Oxygen patients: N=1,439; survey conducted in 2006.
CPAP patients: N=300; survey conducted in 2005.
