Your dedicated support team

Each community has a dedicated SeniorMed team providing personalized service, starting from the moment you select us as your pharmacy provider. Team members include:

Implementation team

Count on your implementation team to:

  • Follow a proprietary 35-point checklist to establish your medication management plan
  • Work with you to select the start date for the first medication cycle for your community
  • Handle all calls to physicians, insurance companies or government agencies to get your residents ready to start the SeniorMed system
  • Visit your community and gather all the information needed to start servicing the residents who have chosen SeniorMed as their pharmacy provider

Nurse account manager

We assign your community a nurse account manager who makes regular visits to make sure things are running smoothly. This individual brings the experience of having worked in long-term care communities and understands your and your residents’ needs.

Your nurse account manager will:

  • Assist with SeniorMed program implementation and staff training for new communities
  • Monitor adherence to medication pass and medication ordering procedures
  • Provide suggestions for medication storage and medication room organization
  • Review information such as a cycle calendar and narcotics sheets
  • Provide ongoing customer support during visits

Customer service representative

You are assigned a customer service representative who is your first point of contact. He/she provides consistent, personal service and is empowered to resolve issues on the first interaction.

Billing representative

If a resident or caregiver has questions regarding their bill, your SeniorMed team includes individuals dedicated to billing.

We accept most major health insurance plans and Medicare Part D Prescription Insurance plans.

Consultant Pharmacist

SeniorMed offers your residents the opportunity to have a Consultant Pharmacist conduct medication reviews. This is especially helpful for residents taking multiple medications prescribed by various doctors who may not communicate with each other.
