Walgreens Home Care offers:

• Infusion services, including nursing care coordination for medications such as antibiotics and nutritional supplements
• Respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer medications and equipment and sleep therapy services
• Durable medical equipment (hospital beds, lift chairs, and wheelchairs)
• Clinical expertise from respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nurses, delivery technicians and patient service representatives
• 24-hour access to our healthcare staff for after-hours care and emergencies
• Convenient delivery and setup of medical equipment and supplies
• Coordination of medical insurance claims by reimbursement specialists

Educational programs for staff, residents, families

Our consultant pharmacists can provide in-services for your staff on an array of health-related topics including medication therapy management, medication cost management and wellness.

SeniorMed also offers regional educational events where your staff members have an opportunity to earn continuing education credits. Topics include dementia, diabetes, incontinence, osteoporosis and/or pain management.

We also can participate in family educational forums at your community. SeniorMed representatives can describe the benefits of our products and services and answer any questions. They will explain our implementation process, support structure, back-up pharmacy services and pricing and insurance issues. At that time, they can speak on a variety of geriatric topics that affect your residents.

Consultant Pharmacists

SeniorMed offers your residents the opportunity to have a Consultant Pharmacist conduct medication reviews. This is especially helpful for residents taking multiple medications prescribed by various doctors who may not communicate with each other.
