How are prescription orders shipped?

Orders are shipped via free standard shipping in secure, confidential and tamper-evident packaging.

Most orders are shipped to all 50 states and Puerto Rico via the U.S. Postal Service. Controlled substances may require an adult’s signature upon delivery.

Prescriptions can be shipped Next Business Day or 2nd Business Day for an additional charge.

How soon will my prescription order arrive?

For free standard shipping, allow 10 business days from the time you place your prescription order. Next Business Day and 2nd Business Day shipping methods are available for an additional charge.

Do you ensure medications are maintained at certain temperatures?

Yes. Walgreens Mail Service follows strict guidelines when shipping medications that require special handling. Such medications are shipped overnight.
