Sleep enough

Getting enough rest is an important part of your routine while taking anti-cancer medication. Schedule sleep into your daily routine.

  • Aim for at least eight hours of sleep each night.
  • Take short naps (no longer than one hour).
  • Eliminate distractions such as TV to allow for more restful sleep.
  • Tell your doctor if you frequently wake up during the night or if you have trouble falling asleep.
