Manage stress

Cancer and its treatments are stressful, and worry and anxiety can cause mental and physical fatigue. Learning to control stress can help you feel better while on oral chemotherapy medication.

Tips to help you manage stress:

  • Talk to a counselor or join a cancer support group.
  • Don't be afraid to ask your doctor questions about your treatment.
  • Try to avoid stressful situations.
  • Whether it is sitting in a park or gardening or walking in a serene setting, find ways to relax.
