What information can I access?

What information does Walgreens Health Services' web site collect?

When you use our web site to access such functions as member registration, pharmacy benefit information (such as cost and drug coverages), prescription history, prescription drug online refills, or registration with Walgreens Mail Service, our mail service pharmacy, our online registration process asks you to provide us with a limited amount of personal and/or health-related information. This information is necessary to provide you with pharmacy benefit information and process future orders. Categories of personally identifiable information include: name, address, phone number, identification number, group number, e-mail address, date of birth, billing/shipping information (credit card number, shipping address), and Rx number. In addition, our web server automatically collects click-stream information such as the address (or "URL") of the web site you came from before visiting our site, the pages you visited on our site, the browser you used to view our site, and any search terms you have entered on our site.

How is this information used?

You may choose to supply personalized information that will enable you to receive individualized customer service that we cannot offer anonymous users. That customer service may include notices about updates to our web site and Rx Order Status E-mail service (e-mail notification of the status of a prescription refill order). How do you handle cookies?

Credit Card Fraud

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you cannot be held liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. If your credit card provider requires payment of any of this amount as a result of a prescription purchase made at our web site's secure server, we will reimburse you up to the $50 limit.
